STUDIO

Ever since I started my photography business I had a list of goals I wanted to complete. It was labeled “5 year goal list”. Well today,  I am super excited to say I have completed EVERY last one of those goals. The last one on that list was to get a studio in downtown Pontiac. I honestly wasn’t sure that I would get to scratch this one off. I’ve been keeping my eye on spaces down here over the last several years, and only a few have caught my eye. In 2017, I met an awesome contractor who purchased a high rise down there, and we discussed his vision for the building remodel. It was exactly what I was looking for. He had ONE space left and it was amazing. The only downfall was that it was on the ground floor, facing the road. It wasn’t going to be very private. I wanted to be at least a few floors up. So, my search continued. I actually stopped searching for much of 2018, and felt like I wasn’t going to find my perfect space. Until December 2018. I inquired about a building downtown that didn’t have any photos, but figured it was worth a shot. My realtor immediately got back with me, and was eager to show me the space. After we met, and looked at the space, we both realized it wasn’t for me. He ended up saying “you know what, let’s check out one more space. I think it’s what you’re looking for.” Then we walked across the street, went up to the 4th floor, and walked into this gorgeously lit corner space. THIS was IT!!!!! The room was in need of complete remodel. I had a vision.

Fast forward 2.5 months, and my studio was finally complete! I am so excited to get in here and offer MORE for you guys! I mainly specialize in weddings, but boudoir has been a passion of mine over the last few years. I really wanted to create a space where I could have it designed for boudoir, but also be usable, and completely customizable for any type of session. I hope you guys enjoy this space as much as I do.
